Data Acquisition

Position of measurement:

1. The line Gross Time will be assessed by subtracting the total duration of the leading machine stoppages that are due to reasons non related to the equipment (external stoppages).
2. The line Running Time will be assessed by subtracting the duration of every stoppages of the “leading machine” due to the machine itself (critical machine own stops) or due to the equipment of the line that has been supplied by the Supplier and subject to the acceptance procedure from the Gross Time.
3. The produced and reject quantities can be measured by automatic means (DIN 8783) (machine counter, control device counter, dedicated counter) as long as agreed between all parties. The production counter has to be positioned so as to determine the exact number of containers released by the “leading machine” (According to contract terms). The rejects counters can be placed at any place of the line: the total rejected amount will be the sum of these counters.
