Information platform May 10, 2012
After a few years of activities and a first Symposium held in 2008, the Association of the Beverage Machinery Industry (ABMI) and its Technical Committees have further collaborated and worked on topics of relevance in the beverage machinery industry and will present their latest results at the ABMI Information platform 2012, which will take place on May 10, 2012 in Zürich, Switzerland. For further information regarding this event please refer to the agenda (see below).
The goal of this platform is to update industry actors on the association’s recent work and developments through presentations and discussion sessions.
The topics to be presented and discussed at the Information platform are the following:
- Acceptance test: Good practices for Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Project terminology: Efficient communication and exchanges along the “Project” process chain between Customers and Suppliers
- Aseptic terminology: Common aseptic validation protocol for the Site Acceptance Tests
- Security & safety: Recommendations to maximize and sustain safety, se-curity and high degree of efficiency of a machine/line
- Listing of controls: Common understanding about key functional criteria of machines and critical parameters for raw material
- Automation: Recommendations in order to enhance machine functionalities and operator safety
- Sustainability: Harmonized templates and wording for exchange of sustainability information between Suppliers and Customers
